Headshot & Portrait sessions - Coronavirus (COVID-19) preparedness plan
Bookings are now being taken for Portrait & Headshot sessions from w/c 6 July onwards. I’ve created this action plan not only to meet the guidelines the government has set out, but also to ensure that you feel as comfortable and as safe as possible being invited into my space for your session.
The following Covid-19 working practices will be implemented at all Headshot & Portrait sessions:
About the space
- Shoots take place at Mark’s home studio in Bermondsey
- Only Mark will be present at the session
- The apartment is a ‘low-traffic’ space. Only Mark, his husband and headshot/portrait clients will be accessing the space at this time
Travelling to your session
The apartment is easily accessible by Tube and Bus. However, if you would like to avoid public transport there are several options:
- BY BIKE: There is a Santander Cycle docking station a 5/6 minute walk from the apartment. If you are bringing your own bike, there is a secure Bike Store on site
- BY CAR: There is on-street parking directly outside the apartment. Parking permits can be supplied free of charge
Cleaning & Hygiene
- Hand sanitiser will be available throughout the shoot
- All touch points (door handles, taps etc) will be cleaned before each shoot
- All photography equipment will be disinfected before each shoot
- Bottled drinking water will be available. Hot drinks will not be available at present
- Paper towels will be provided in the bathroom
Social Distancing & Risk Management
- Mark will remain in a floor-marked ‘shooting zone’ throughout the session, 2 metres from the posing stool
- Clients will be directed to let themselves into the apartment to allow for social distancing
- Windows will remain open for increased ventilation
- Additional personnel such as Makeup Artists are not currently permitted at shoots in order to adhere to social distancing guidelines
Cancellations
- If you are displaying any symptoms, please cancel and rearrange your session
- Sessions can be rearranged straight away, allowing a 14-day period from the original booking date
- There are no cancellation fees
